Delete my "Inbox"?

H

Help Amy

When I am clicking on emails in my Inbox (I have Vista) and then after
reading them I want to delete just that message, so I click on the ""Delete"
button, I get a pop up window that says"Are you sure you want to delete your
Inbox folder and move it to the Deleted folder?"

I have already inadvertently deleted my entire Inbox and do not want to do
that again.

In order to delete a message, that message must have the foreground focus.
You may have clicked elsewhere, causing the message to lose the focus.

Note: It is not possible to delete the Inbox or any other mail folder created
by Windows Mail. Only custom folders *you* created can be deleted.

If you go to View | Layout and disable the folder list and enable the folder
bar, then its very difficult to delete the folder.
