Cannot scroll in database window

I'm using XP version and quite often find that when I return to the database
window, it is either empty and I need to click to a different tab and return
to poulate it, or the scroll functions do not work but you can still tab from
one column to another. This is just one example of flaky things that I've
been experiencing with this version of Access - see problems opening tables
in a project. The version is SP3.
Anyone had same problems?

The flaky things you describe are generally Access not working correctly
with Windows XP themes.

You can work around the problem by reverting to the the old Windows look.
Right-click your Windows desktop, and choose Properties. On the Themes tab,
choose Windows Classic.

Thanks - I'll give it a try as it sounds illogical enough to be right. I
should be able to tell within a few days as it will stop annoying me!
