Hi experts,
I have the following problem:
A notebook and a desktop, both running XP prof. I import a video file
from my sony dv camera and save it on the notebook. Importing the file
(.avi) into mm2 on the notebook and saving parts of it there works. When
I copy the file to my desktop, I can import the file and view the whole
project, but when trying to save the movie I always get the error
message 'cannot save' without reasonable explanation. It is totally
independant of the output format. I can save some other videos.
I think, it might have to do something with the installed codecs. For
this reason I uploaded the lists of the codes to these addresses:
http://thecorporation.net/desktop.gif (does NOT save)
http://thecorporation.net/notebook.gif (does save)
I'd be more than happy if someone could give me an idea how to resolve
this annoying problem.
TIA and have a nice day
Thomas
