Cannot reply to messages from home network

I have DSL at my office and can reply/forward without any
problem. My home network is Road Runner and I cannot
reply/forward. Using the same laptop in both situations.
 
Do you have your laptop set to use RoadRunner at home or are you
authenticating to your work ISP/Exchange server?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, dave asked:
