cannot remove offline folder. help.

Dan

my company keeps moving shares from server to server. I am using offline
folders to keep some of the server folders on my laptop.

now I have the problem that I have two offline folders that are not existing
anymore on the servers, but they are still in my offline folder setup
visible. naturally, Windows XP trieds to synchronize those folders but I get
an error message.

I would like to remove those two old folders. but I can only find one of
them in the registry. each time I delete it, at latest at the next reboot
sychrionization pops up and has it added again to the list to be
synchronized. where is this coming from if I have already deleted every
registry entry?

the other folder, I cannot find at all in the registry. where can I remove
those folders?

thanks for any pointer

I have seen that this question has been asked many times, but I did not find
any answer to it. seems to be a FAQ withouth answer?

I know in the meantime that if moving from one server to the other, one
should first disable offline folders on the old server. well, I have not
done this, and I am now stuck with a system that wants to synchronize with
the old server all the time.

deleting the shares in NetCache in the registry does not help, since the
next time I boot, the entries appear again.

please help me to get rid of those old offline folders. how?
