Cannot remove Nickname

We're using Outlook 2003 with Exchange 2003 in a small office environment.
Whenever anyone begins to type a certain user's name in the TO: field of an
email message, the drop down shows this person's former name. She changed
her name several years ago. I have tried removing NK2 files from individual
workstations, but it comes right back. She has not used that name or email
address in years. Where is it coming from and how do I get rid of it?
There have been several instances where the former email address showed up in
the cc: field of messages that went out. Does anyone have any idea what's
going on? This just started happening. Thanks.

I've tried doing that numerous times. It comes right back. I've even
deleted the nk2 file. But the next time I type her name in the TO: field,
the old email name shows in the drop down. Th9s happens on my workstation
and everyone's.

The nk2-file contains a cache of names previously used to address an email.
To remove an address select it with your arrow keys when it pops-up and
press DELETE.

Check her user account in AD U&C. See if all instance of her name there have
been modified correctly including Display Name and the X400 address.
