Cannot record Video

When i try to capture from my Windows MEdia Player, the
system halts at "Rewinding the tape" stage, after this
its suppose to proceed to capture the video which it does
not, even after up to half hour of waiting.

Hi,

Does it work when you try to do manual capture instead of automatic capture?
It might be that your camcorder isn't sending a message back to Movie Maker
telling it that it's rewound the tape. If that's the case, capturing
maually should solve your problem.
