cannot receive emails

Hi. New dell computer here with vista. I am trying to use the send/receive
button to get emails......I can send them, but do not receive them. I think
I have everything in the account info correct....any ideas?

I'm new to this, but are your incoming mail server details entered
correctly?

WinMail is similar to Outlook Express, as far as the settings go.

Also, you might try the server name listed at
http://www.shaw.ca/en-ca/CustomerCare/InternetSupport/Residential/RoutersandShawServerNames.htm

Or, you can always call Shaw.

As Dave already mentioned, try entering the full server name
as listed in his second URL.
Also, if you have "My server requires authentication" checked,
try it unchecked, because I don't think the Shaw server can use it.
