When I try to read from a cd rom I get the warning "Windows cannot read from
this disk. The disk may be corrupt, or it could be using a format that is not
compatible with windows." I can read the same disk from my machine using
another machine on the network so the drives are not faulty.

Help!!

Is this a cd-rw that was created with packet-writing software like InCD
or DirectCD? If so, you need the UDP reader on the machine that is
trying to read the cd. Either install the packet-writing software or
get a free UDP reader from the burning software mftr.'s website.

Malke,

can you help me as well? I've the same problem after installing the SP2.
I've a combined DVD/CD-ROM drive from Toshiba, and this problem (the same
error message like CustomTee) only affects CDs that need installation, while
everything's ok with music CDs.

i've a test for my Dutch course in two days, and I can't practice with my
Dutch CD-ROM! I tried to reverse the system prior to the SP2 installation,
but it didn't help either.

thanks!
