Me

Hey i am trying to install windows XP, But when i get the
the EULA screen, i press F8 to accept the licence
agreement. But nothing happends.

I am using a Logitec USB Keyboard?

Any ideas? I need to set XP up on this machine now. Its
the only usb keyboard i have and i can not use a PS2
keyboard the the port is stuffed. I can not plug it in to
it at all.

Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Use the Tab key on your keyboard and tab to the
accept button, then hit enter.

If there is an F Lock key on your keyboard, try toggling it before pressing
F8. It may be in its dubious "function enhanced" state.

I don't know if this is it or not, but with NT installations you used to
have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the EULA before it would
allow you to accept it. It was their feeble attempt to make you read the
whole thing. Have you scrolled all the way down the EULA?

Greetings --

If the motherboard is damaged, preventing the operation of a PS/2
keyboard, you've no way of entering the BIOS to enable the USB Legacy
support that would allow you to use a USB keyboard. Replace the
motherboard.

That's no longer necessary, for both Win2K and WinXP. The <F8>
key can be pressed at the top of the EULA.

Yeah, didn't think so. But wasn't sure.
