Cannot play DVD movies or MPEG 2 in WMP 10

I just upgraded to Windows Media Player 10 from the 9
version. Before I couldn't play DVDs with it but could
play MPEG 2 video clips. Now I can't play any of them.
Please any suggestion to which is the problem?

Reinstall your DVD decoding software. PowerDVD or WinDVD whichever is
installed on your PC.
