cannot open multiple IE browers at the same time

vicki

running XP, IE 6. recently i added a new acct to my
computer and in that acct, i cannot have more than one IE
browser page open at the same time. if i try to open
more than one page, the second one just bumps the first
one off.

i've tried restoring defaults, deleting and recreating
the new acct...all to no avail. no info on microsoft
help pages.

any ideas? thanks!

In IE, look under the Tools menu. Internet options, advanced tab.
Un-check "reuse windows for launching shortcuts".
Apply and okay your way out.
Reboot.
