Cannot Open Google.com or any altavista.com

I am unable to access any searh engines like:
google.com.

I cannot search from Yahoo or MSN

I can open and browse all other sites, but cannot perform
a search using any of the known sites like askjeeves,
google, yahoo or msn

Please help me fix this problem

I have this exact problem with search engines, it started
yesterday, 9-21-03.

When did you problem start?

Parasite alert!

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

I don't know if this answers your situation, but Kelly has a fix at
line 222, left "restore address bar search - Google". There is another
fix at line 229 to restore IE search to the default.
