cannot open attachments

have a pc running w2k prof, with office 2000. On last week i started getting an error message stating "cannot open one or more attachments in outlook". our company uses excg 5.5. there are no problems as far as on the server end. Can you tell me what can be the cause?

Look in options folder. Uncheck the box related to, Don't
open attachments. You will find the same thing in Outlook
express under the receive tab. I hope this helps
