Messages arrive as attachments

I am receiving message sent from my home PC at the office as "attachments" vs
simply opening the message to read. The attachments are named like
"ATT00001.c" They will open with notepad, but is there a setting that can be
changed on either or both of the machines to stop this? It just starting
happening within the last few weeks.

Using Outlook 2003 on both sending and receiving systems. Receiving system
is running through an Exchange Server.

Thanks

Jon

So you have any add-in, like an antivirus program, that scans mail on either
the sending or receiving side? If so, uninstall the AV program and
reinstall it without the mail scanner to see if that affects the problem.

Now that I think about it, this starting about the same time as I installed a
new anti-virus program.

Will try your suggestion.
