Cannot open Attachments in Outlook 2002

I am having a bizarre problem.

We have several clients using Outlook 2003 with no problems, but one with
Outlook 2002. She cannot open attachments.

I saw an article on this and tried adding the Level1Remove string to the
registry with .doc as a value, but it still won't allow me to open or save
it.

Any ideas?

TIA,

Shane

What happens when she tries?

What is the exact text of any messages that appear when you try?

Brian,

I did the Level1Remove and put in .doc for word docs., then rebooted.

Now instead of Open/Save dialog when she tries to open the word doc
attachment, she get's a warning that it might be a virus and it asks her to
save to disk.
When she tries to save it it says:

Outlook could not save the file (last word might be attachment)

All the other users are using Outlook 2003 and 97 and have no problems.

The other thing is that from reading the list of excluded files, I didn't
see .DOC files on the list, so why are they being blocked.

Thanks,

Shane
