cannot open a current or create a new appointment

has never happened before!!! I am using outlook 2003. I double click on
currently scheduled appointments to edit or try to create new ones but pop up
form does not appear either to edit or build new one

Looks like we had a similar problem yesterday - noticed your post after
looking for my own. Just replied to my one thus, hope it helps you:

"Cured, if not exactly solved. I'd been hitting "snooze" repeatedly for a
particular reminder for the past 5 days. Hit "dismiss" this morning when the
reminder came up and now I can create new appointments and edit old ones."
