Cannot open 2 folder at same time

Hello,
I have XP Home. Since yesterday I am not able to open 2
folder at the same time. For ex. if I opened mydocs and I
want to open another folder place on the desktop, it
simply do not open. I also cannot open more than 1 window
with IE.
I looked in folder option and set everything to default.

Checkpoints:

Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/General/Browse folders:
IE/Tools/Internet Options/Advanced/Browsing/Reuse windows.....
