cannot move/delete files

When trying to move wordpad files on a mapped drive from
several worksataions I get the following message. "cannot
use(filename):it is in use by another person or program.
close any programs that may be using the file and try
again. This happens when no one else is on the network and
seems to happen randomly to different files.I happens with
no other programs open and no one else on the network. Any
suggestion?
 
Hello Marvin,
You may need to run filemon to confirm that the file is indeed free when
you attempt to move or delete it. Antivirus and other software keeps files
open without your knowledge.
