Marlon

Sirs,

I cannot logged on to a computer and it says " The system
cannot log you on to the domain because the system's
computer account in its primary domain is missing or the
password on that account is incorrect"

Password is not the issue here since I logged on to
different accounts and I'm very sure the correct passwords
are entered.....

The computer is connected to the LAN for I can see the pc
via PING command and is replying.

Pls help..

many thanks,
Marlon Bautista

Provided nothing extraneous occured (a restore, corruption, or anything else
you did to change it), goto the computers container, rt-click on the
computer account, and reset it.

Using the utilities netdom or nltest, you can reset the secure channel for
machine/s whose accounts are still in the domain. Use "netdom reset" for
servers/workstations and "netdom resetpwd" for dc's.
If you are still seeing the problem, then please post what event errors you
see in the logs (ie, 5722, 5709, etc)
