I have a computer that when anyone tries to logon the
message "The system cannot log you on to this domain
because the systems computer account in its primary
domain is missing or the password on the account is
incorrect." Is this problem on my machine or on the
server? Please any help would be appreciated. thanks in
advance.

Has the PC ever connected to the domain?

Try deleting the machine account on the server.

Removing the PC from the domain and back to a workgroup

Then try rejoining the domain.

could there be a connection problem ? i.e. faulty cable or that? If you
log in with say a local admin account can you browse to your domain and see
your domain server ?

I had this same problem with an SBS network. I had to build
a new sbs server cuz the old one was failing. The problem
was in the domain trusts since only one SBS server can live
in a domain.

Do you have multiple domains? Is there a trust relationship
established?

Check network connection, Caps lock, password, and user
name. If that does not work, I would recommend reading
Computers for Dummies as that is a very good read.
