cannot log onto my comp because of missing file

i tried to log onto my computer as i always do but a
message came up sayin that it is unable to locate a file
either because of a lack of security rights or a
corrupted file. So they logged me in with a temporary
file. All my saved work was found but in different
folders and not all the programs are easily accessible.
If i try to save something now it doesn't save on the
computer. Once i log out again all the work i save
disappears. I don't understand how and why this has
happened. Please if someone knows what to do then come
forward and give me any information. I'd be very
grateful. Thank you

sounds like a conflick of sorts, try restore.
