Cannot Load the dll Cnxtsdk.dll

Hi, I am getting a Error Message when windows 2000 (I could not find a
windows 2000 forum) starts up. The Errors Messages are:
"Cannot load the dll cnxtsdk.dll" &
"The aplication failed to initialize properly(0xc0000142) Click on Ok to
terminate the application"
Can anyone help me with this please?

cnxtsdk.dll is part of a Conexant modem driver. cnxtsdk.dll is not a
Windows XP or 2000 file.

I just went into my device manager and checked my modem driver. The driver I
have for this one is PCTEL 2304WT V.92 MDC Modem. I searched for Conexant
Modem driver on my computer and a folder came up with it in there. I guess I
downloaded it when I was downloading the other drivers by mistake. What do I
do?
Thanks

SWAG: Go to Add or Remove Programs and uninstall Conexant Modem driver or
whatever it might be called.

I tried that but the only Modem driver there is the PCTEL one. If I just
deleted the Conextant folder, it would only cause more error Msgs right? I
check in the folder and there is no Uninstall icon there either

Click Start, Run, type REGEDIT, click OK. Press the Home key, press F3,
type the name of the file into the search pane. Click "Find Next", and
when located, delete the reference to the file. Press F3 to continue
the search.

You can click File, Export, and save the entry to the Desktop, attach
the file to a post in this thread; someone might note whether it's safe
to delete first. If you remove it and there's a problem, double-click
the .reg file you exported to the Desktop and it'll be added to the
registry again. You can create a restore point before editing the
registry too.
