Cannot Load a new printer

I had to repair XP and now I have lost all of my network
printers. When I went to add a printer it simply says
cannot complete operation.

Any suggestions?

Ensure the print spooler is running

From the command prompt, type

net start spooler

and hit enter

If that produces no change, from the command prompt, type

sfc /scannow

and hit enter

After its finished, reboot. Any change now?
