Cannot join newly installed XP Pro to domain

Any ideas why I cannot seem to join this PC to my domain at work?

-Just installed XP Pro, as a clean install.
-When I get to the join domain part of the install, I put in the network
administrator credentials, but it fails and says, "...If you are certain
that the name is not a NetBIOS domain name, then the following info can help
you troubleshoot your DNS configuration. An error occurred when DNS was
queried for the service location (SRV) resource record used to locate a
domain controller for domain CZA. The error was: "A socket operation was
attempted to an unreachable host." (error code 0x00002751 WSAEHOSTUNREACH)
The query was for the SRV record for _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.CZA ... "

Domain Controller is Windows Server 2000
Newly re-built workstation is a clean install of Windows XP Pro SP1

At the other office, this same computer was first rebuilt there and joined
the domain perfectly well and without any trouble. (Other office has its
own domain controller). Due to this trouble, I re-installed a fresh copy of
Windows XP Pro at the desired office, and gave it a new computer name, just
in case it was somehow having issues with that. (Which I don't understand
because the laptop I'm using right now is XP Pro too and it has no trouble
connecting to the domain at either office and it was initially joined at the
other office too.)

So I'm really straining to understand what is causing this trouble and what
I can do to fix it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
