Joining an WinXP Pro client to a 2003 domain

I recently repromoted my Win2003 to a domain controller.
It also runs DNS. I can not get one of my computers to
join the domain. It was once part of the domain before,
I demoted the server. I kept the same domain name.
(sandbox.net) But I keep getting the message: The error
was: "DNS name does not exist."
(error code 0x0000232B RCODE_NAME_ERROR)

The query was for the SRV record for
_ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.sandbox.net

Common causes of this error include the following:

- The DNS SRV record is not registered in DNS.

- One or more of the following zones do not include
delegation to its child zone:

sandbox.net I have 4 other computers all running winxp
pro, in my domain. I had no problem joining them. I
have uninstalled and Norton Internet Security and
rebooted the computer. Still the same message. Any
suggestions?
