i have a mustek 1200ub scanner, this is what i had to do.
download the lastest verion of your mustek driver for XP.
then copy it (or them, mine had like 6 files or something)
to the c:\windows\system32\drivers(i believe it's
drivers32) and paste them here. then begin the install
procedure for the driver (as mentioned on Mustek's website
driver download page). viola! you are basically forcing it
to take your muskek scanner by putting it in the driver32
folder. it should work. mine is and haven't had any
problems w/it.
