I am trying to transfer my files from my old computer to my new one. I have
copied and imported my Outlook .pst file, but when it opens on the new
computer, nothing more recent than last 28 August shows up—no emails or even
their folders, no calendar entries. It’s as if I’ve copied an old version of
the .pst file.
I use the Outlook backup utility to create a backup in a folder in my data
files, “Outlook backup.†This is what I'm copying over. I backed it up just
before copying, and did this over again when it did not work the first time.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook, and run the Inbox repair tool
Scanpst.exe, all with no effect.
I’m running Outlook 2000 on XP Pro on my old computer, XP Media Edition 2005
on my new computer.
Any ideas?
