Cannot get to internet in multiple sesions

I have 5 user on windows XP with there own settings or session as recommended
in the set up process. When one kid is on hte internet and i switch users
and try to log on the internet i cannot . i get a error message run time
error
this session has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unussual way

Does anyone know what to do very frustrated

How are you switching users?
Are you sure that you are still not connected to the Internet and therefore
do not need to logon?
