I HAVE AN HP PAVILLION LAPTOP AND I'M RUNNING WINDOWS XP.
I'M NOT ABLE TO GET ANY SOUND TO PLAY. IT SAYS "NO SOUND
CARD INSTALLED." ANY IDEA HOW I WOULD INSTALL A SOUND
DRIVER?

APPRECIATE ANY HELP ANYONE CAN GIVE.

Please dont type in ALL CAPS, this is considered yelling.

Contact Dell for drivers and support.

Have you tried to determine if the sound card is working
properly. XP has a built-in troubleshooting function
under Help and Support or try:
Control Panel
System
Hardware
Device Manager
Single Clik on Sound, video, & Game Controllers
Right Clik on Sound, video Game then clik on the + sign
in front of the line.
Find your sound card or drivers and right clik it, then
chose your path...either look for updates, check
properties, etc.
