I use Outlook 2003 for the past 2 weeks I have not been able to send or
recive any mail after my PC has recieved any type of update from windows or
Norton security.

I have to go back to a restore point in order to put it right. I have no
viruese or spyware. I have tried running the detect and repair for Outlook
but I still have problems. I have contactacted my web provider but there
seems to be no error their as I am able to get my mail by webmail.

Cna anyone sugest why any type of PC update is interfering with my Outlook
email.

Many Thanks

My Outlook has not been able to connnect to the internet since the Microsoft
Update this past week. Can someone please tell us what did Microsoft do to
mess us up this time and what is the fix. I can still access my e-mail
through my webmail but this is quite inconventient.

Disable the Norton Mail plug-in.

After going to Microsoft and then to Norton's, all I had to do was uninstall
Norton's and then reinstall it. Norton's had a link to a Microsoft answer
that was not accessible through Microsoft that talked of the incompatibility
and need to reinstall Norton's after update. However dumb it sounds, it
worked - at least until Microsoft sends another Update that messes with our
Norton's again.
