cannot get autocomplete to pop

I am so frustrated and I am not a novice I cannot get
autocomplete to complete any browser fields.

I have checked all the boxes under Tools > Internet
Options > Content > Auto Complete. I have also gone thru
the troubleshooting under Microsoft Knowledge Base
Article - 306895 : AutoComplete Does Not Save Username
and Password

try this if you are using windows 2000 or XP. This is
probably your problem. worked for me
