cannot force logoff

Hello,

I have a Windows 2000 domain with Windows XP clients. The force logoff when
logon hours expire is set at the domain level and is applied at the client
level. The problem is that if a user leaves for the day without shutting
down their system, when the log on hours expire they cannot access network
resources, but they are not logging off, or if they are logging off, then
somehow the machine is logging them back in once the logon hours become
availible again.

Any ideas?
TIA

The Policy is mis-named. It works as you have observed.

You can use the WinExit screensaver, tip 4866 in the 'Tips & Tricks' at

You can download it from tip 6705.
