Logon/Logoff scripts not running for domain users

I am trying to get a pair of logon/logoff scripts to run on a Windows 2000
server. The scripts are configured under Local Group Policy, and work for
a local account on the server. However, they are not invoked in case of
domain userids.

How do I get the scripts to run for the domain users also when they
logon/logoff from the server? Is this something that can only be done
through domain- or OU-level policies? On checking with gpresult, I see
that in case of the local account, the following lines are displayed:

===============================================================
The user received "Scripts" settings from these GPOs:

Local Group Policy

In case of the domain ids, there is no reference to any "Scripts" settings
in the gpresult output.
I only have local administrative rights on the server and have no
domain-level authorization.
Please help!

In AD, under each user account there is a profile tab. Here you will see a
line for Logon Script. Put the name of the script file here(and the exe that
is used to run it if needed).

If you want to do it with a policy, you need to use a Domain Policy, not
Local.
