Cannot find server or DNS Error

For some strange reason I can no longer access two web
sites. www.hotmail.com and www.egg.com

I have tried the normal things like deleting my cookies,
history etc but can not access them. All I get is the
page telling you to checj your settings and at the bottom
it says "Cannot find server or DNS Error"
Alto detect no longer appears to work either - Anyone got
any ideas???
