cannot find novell server

Hi, i m having this problem of not being able to connect
to my novell server using the 'novell client for windows'
on my win XP.

i m sure that the IP address is correct since i can get to
internet through LAN. however the login page juz keep
prompting that it cannot find the server.

wonder if anyone can help me if this??

I've seen this before. It is possible that someone has
disabled the network connection. I have seen it where the
network connection is displayed in the task bar and a user
accidentally double-clicks it, then instead of clicking
close they click disable. The only way to resolve this is
to logon to "NT Only" or "logon locally" (different
versions of the novell client show different things but
essentially you logon to Windows only) as the local
machine's administrator, then re-enable the LAN connection.
