cannot edit macros in excel 2007

Hello,

I made a macro but when I try to edit it I get the message: "cannot edit a
macro on a hidden workbook. unhide the workbook using the unhide command"

Doing a search I found a page telling me to make a personal.xls file in an
XLSTART folder, but it didn't work. I think it is because it was referring
to a previous version of Excel.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you don't already have a personal.xlsm file then record a macro to
personal and excel will create it for you.

Hi Ben

Open the VBA editor with Alt F11
Edit the code in your personal file and click on
the Save button in the Editor.
Use Alt q to close the editor
