Hide/Unhide without using macros

Hi,

I have finally figured out the code that enables an ActiveX checkbox to hide/unhide a particular worksheet when a user checks a particular checkbox. Whilst this could revolutionise the way some of our worksheets function, I fear that users who are overtly paranoid will not be able to use this functionality if they've switched off macros (and refuse to switch them on).

Is there an alternative in Excel 2007 which I can explore for achieving the same functionality without using macros? Using Forms control boxes would still entail writing a macro. Can Conditional Formatting be used to hide/unhide cells in another visible worksheet? (As I'm guessing that CF can't be used to actually hide/unhide a worksheet). I've had a dig about the t'internet but to no avail (perhaps barking up the wrong tree...)

Thanks for your time.

Mr J.
