Cannot Download/Install Windows Updates

I cannot download updates from the Windows Update site.

I go to the site, it scans for new/needed updates, and I
get a security prompt: "Do you want to install and
run "C:\Program Files\WindowsUpdate\V4\iuident.cab"?" I
click yes and the site says "downloading and installing
updates". This screen persists until I get another
security prompt, the same one. Nothing ever downloads.

I've tried renaming/deleting the catroot2 file. Does not
help.

Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Tara,
I too faced this problem afew days back it is the worm i
suppose. Just try to get to update antivirus ir use the
norton worm remover tool.
