Cannot delete file/folder under C: drive

After mapping a drive on my W2K PC from Windows98 PC and
copying a file to Win2K, all files and directories on W2K
server are stuck. Cannot delete or rename any files on
the C: drive.

Get this message:
Cannot delete FILENAME: Access is denied. The source file
may be in use.

Anybody know how to fix this?

Which PC are you sending the command from? and which PC "C:" files are
you trying to delete. and If on the Win2k PC at the command line make
sure the command line is running from CMD.EXE and NOT COMMAND.COM.
