Cannot defrag redirected folders or roaming profiles

J

Jerry Girard

I cannot get defrag to defrag any files that are part of the redirected
folders or roaming profiles. I've been through every Microsoft bulletin,
etc.

The folders are owned by the users but I have the System, Administrator and
Administrator Groups listed with full security rights. As Administrator, I
can see all the files in each user's folder, but defrag won't touch them.

The drive is getting really nasty. How can I get this thing to defrag?

Thanks.

Jerry,

I have not seen this type of problem before. Can provide me with the error
message that you are getting when you try to defrag those folders/files?
Also give me any other details that you think might be important.

Thanks.
