Hi All,

I have had to reinstall my Windows XP Pro following a
crash. Now, I cannot get it to create a new dial-up
connection. When I use the Create New Connection tool, I
see only one option that I can click on (Broadband), all
the other ones including the one I want (dial-up
Connection) is grayed out.

Any ideas?

Many Thanks

This is the usual culprit:

You Cannot Create a Network Connection After You Restore Windows XP

The fix is to re-install SP1.

Did you check your modem settings? Mybe your modem settings is not optinal for MS Windows Xp, maybe you can resetup you modem driver.
