cannot copy

when i attempt to copy music from my computer to my
portable device (mp3 player). i get the error "wmp cannot
copy the file to the device because the license restricts
it" Error: C00D11D3. yet the error code doe not appear in
the data base.

any help please.

It sounds like the file you are trying to copy is licensed, and the device
you are using is not SDMI-compliant. Non-SDMI devices can only host
non-licensed files...
