Cannot copy Thumbs: The operation completed successfully.

Hello,
I'm trying to move a picture folder, but I keep getting an "Error Copying
File or Folder" box with the above message in it. However, I can't find a
file with "Thumbs" anywhere in it. Any ideas on what or where it might be?
Any ideas how I can see it or delete it so I can copy the folder? Any way I
can tell Windows Explorer to skip this "file" when it's copying?

Thanks,
Mike

In Windows Explorer, click tools, options, and click on the view tab. In
there opt to show hidden files. Refresh the folder. Does the thumbs file
show now?

I already had that enabled (sorry, I should have mentioned that in the
initial post).

Thumbs.db is an index file of thumbnails view. That the Thumbs.db file did
not copy is not a problem.

As you've been informed in another post it's not usually that important. Are
you still able to copy the rest of the files without any problem? The file
should recreate itself in a new folder if it's set to display in thumbnails.
As for here it's able to be moved, deleted, copied, etc... I just played
with it for a minute or two to check and see so I can't recreate what you're
seeing there though my settings are surely different then those you're
using. Seeing as you can't actually SEE this file it makes me wonder...

start
run
cmd
enter
cd my documents
cd my pictures
dir /ahs

(obviously enter in between each and cd to what ever directory it really is
if it's not my pictures)

Does the thumbs.db show up there?

If you DO get see it then try to delete it from there if you'd like. Perhaps
it is corrupted or something of the sort?
