Help..every time I try to copy photos to a cd it keeps saying D:\ is not
accessable. It reads the blank cd, plays audio and copies to a dvd from a dvd
file- not a windows program. Anyone have some ideas--ps.. not a real computer
geek..

Do you understand that to copy a file to a CD, you must have a writeable CD,
either one that is writeable and not eraseable (CD-R) or one that is
writeable and eraseable (CD R/W). For the CD R you need a program to "burn"
the CD. This is an isolated session running that burn program.

To write to a CD R/W, and treat that CD as if it were an an extra hard
drive which can be copied to, erased, rewritten (think treating it as a
floppy), you must also "burn" it and you need a "packet reader" on your
machine to read it.

If you simply put a blank CD R/W in your drive and expect to access it with
Explorer, it isn't going to work. CD R/W may need formatted first then the
other burning/reading programs need to be in place.
