cannot continue loading

I purchased a lap top that came with an oem win-home-xp
disc and put it on another computer. The windows
activation grace period expired and now windows cannot
continue loading. when I click OK, the computer returns
to the logon prompt. I have since purchased license for
the oem copy but of course cannot get to activate. can
anybody offer any help? Thanks

You purchased another license?
Then go to the Activation screen and choose the option to change the
Product Key.
Follow the prompts.

Rick, it's my understanding that an OEM WinXP CD is only good for the
Computer it came with. Something
like my Nero Burning Software only working with the Liteon Burner it came
with.
