cannot connect to xp

When trying to term serv into a windows XP machine I
always get an error saying, the client cannot be connect
to the terminal server. The server may be too busy.
Please trey connecting later., I have tryed a few things
and cannot get connected. Why?

Hi Ryan,

Have you enabled Reomte Desktop on the XP machine? Are there routers and/or
firewalls between the client and Xp machine? If so make sure they are
allowing traffic on TCP port 3389.

I have turned on remote desktop. Also there are no
firewalls or routers between them. I think that I have
tried just about all that I can think of doing. Any other
ideas
