Cannot connect to SQL

S

sadears

I get an error message when I start Outlook. I clicked help and followed the
instructions to start SQL Server. I get "the request failed or the service
did not respond in a timely fashion. Consult the event log or other
applicable error logs for details.

Outlook does not normally need to connect to any SQL Server. In fact, I
have never heard of it. Do you have an add-in that needs the SQL Server?

Can you give more details, e.g. your Outlook version, account type,
add-ins, etc.?
