Ok heres the problem I have a computer that just lost the ability to connect
to our network.

I installed a new card that I know worked from another computer and changed
the ip address. Now it says connected and has data sent but 0 received. The
same goes for the other network card installed when I re-enable it and
disable the other. I cant connect to our in house server or internet.

I also went as far as to remove the hard drive and use it on another dell
and same problem. I also hooked it up as a slave and scanned it for viruses.
It found some with a updated anti virus but no luck still connecting.

So what I figured is some trojan/virus has blocked me from receiving data.
Does anyone know what this is or how to fix the problem? Did I overlook
something
Thanks
Ryan

Just out of interest, did you install the latest XP patches?

Have you tried deleting the adaptor from device manager, rebooting and
letting it install the driver again?
