hi,

i have two related problems:

a) even having office 2007 un- and re-installed twice - there is no
mail-icon available underneath control panel on my windows vista box.
b) when trying to connect to my company´s exchange server (yes, it is
available in a different way) i do receive the following error when trying
to create a profile "you cannot add a microsoft exchange account to this
profile while outlook is running. exit outlook and use the mail icon in the
control panel to add a microsoft exchange account". however - due to problem
a) i cannot solve my problem b). weired, i know...

I was having the same problem - but later reading through the posts i found
the icon under the 32 bit operating systems -however i still cannot have the
accounts set up as it asks me to go add new exchange server through the mail
icon in the control panel.\
